At Malvern Family Resource Centre (MFRC), we are committed to providing high-quality recreation programming that supports the healthy development of children and youth. HIGH FIVE® is a quality standard for children's recreation and sport programs, grounded in the Principles of Healthy Child Development (PHCD). Through our commitment to HIGH FIVE®, we strive to create program experiences that are developmentally appropriate, safe and welcoming of diversity and uniqueness, while supporting children to build relationships, develop skills, participate and enjoy meaningful play.
MFRC is currently working towards HIGH FIVE® Accreditation. This process supports our ongoing efforts to strengthen our programming, staff knowledge and organizational practices, ensuring that quality remains at the centre of the experiences we provide to children and families.
