Anjali leads a diverse youth team in providing youth development, leadership, academic supports, advocacy, recreation, mental health and career programming and services for over 900 youth annually. In her time at MFRC Anjali has incorporated her passions for gaming, music and anime into her various programs and has a strong artistic background that she shares with participants.

With 20 years of dedicated involvement in the field of children, Anusha makes a lasting difference in the lives of Malvern’s youngest residents. Anusha has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education along with a Certificate in Not-for-Profit Leadership and Volunteer Management.

Nafisa is an experienced lawyer and founding partner of INB Family Law LLP. Living in Malvern, Nafisa is skilled in family law, negotiation, public speaking, and management. Nafisa graduated from York University – Osgoode Hall Law School.
Saru Kanapathipillai

MFRC Vice-Chair
Saru is the Co- Founder of Boring People Inc. and senior staff member at the local law firm Nava Wilson Law. Saru is a community leader, giving his time to multiple causes in supporting of a thriving Malvern and Scarbrough.
Judene Stewert

MFRC’s Board Chair
Judene, a Scarbrough resident, is an experienced non-profit fundraiser and currently the Associate Director, Corporate Engagement at Humber River Hospital Foundation. Judene graduated from the University of Windsor and has been involved in supporting numerous non-profits during her professional career.
Sarah Matsushita

Sarah is an experienced non-profit communications leader and currently the Director of Communications at the Equality Fund. Sarah has a career built in the nonprofit sector including senior communications experience specializing in advocacy, community engagement, and media relations. Sarah holds a Bachelor’s of Art’s in Political science from McMaster University and a Certificate of public relations from Humber college.

Michelle is a senior finance and administrative professional and is currently the Director, Finance at CIFAR. She has expert knowledge in accounting for charitable/not-for-profit organizations.
Gowsic Satgunalingam

Gowsic is a distinguished Senior Manager of Information Technology, bringing many years of experience in the non-profit sector to his role, especially noted for his impactful work at Macaulay Centres for Children in Toronto. His expertise in enhancing IT systems, bolstering security, and improving operational efficiency has been a hallmark of his career. Gowsic combines a solid educational background in Information Systems and Technology with a talent for strategic planning and innovative problem-solving. Additionally, his commitment to community service is evident through his active involvement as a Board Member. Gowsic’s adeptness at navigating complex technological challenges makes him an invaluable asset in any organization.
